Opt Hire has taken a major step in its sustainability journey by partnering with Total Solar Solutions to install a new 38.72 kW commercial solar system at its facility.
This investment underlines Opt Hire’s commitment to reducing its environmental footprint while supporting the construction, civil, and rail industries with cleaner, more efficient operations. The system will generate more than 49,000 kWh of renewable energy each year, significantly offsetting the company’s power use.
Powering Operations with Clean Energy
Designed and installed by Total Solar Solutions, the system features 88 Trina 440 W panels and a Fronius Verto 30 kW inverter. It will power everything from Opt Hire’s offices to its growing fleet of electric and hybrid equipment, reducing reliance on the grid and cutting emissions in line with the sustainable assets Opt Hire provides its clients.
